Thoroughly enjoyed this book, as its the first we’ve found that acknowledges the emotional roller coaster and self-identity changes following a major trauma. So many things Lethan wrote about, actually came out of our own mouths during recovery – very relatable. Regina Richardson.

This is what I have witnessed and experienced in the work that I have done in the past 30 years- I am overwhelmed with emotion because you have articulated so precisely the feelings that the young survivors that I work with experience – feelings that they cannot put into words. Their stories. Dr. Mariann Young, clinical psychologist

I appreciated the honest, first-person account of how hard the journey through recovery can be for the survivor and those who support and love the survivor. What I appreciate most is the message of never giving up hope…even on the hard days. Melissa, speech-language pathologist
